Literature Text

Amid the cold shattered ground I lay,
the wind blowing snow flakes every which way.
My heart is upon a distant shore,
what that I will see never more.
"What has happened?" I ask myself,
"Why have I fallen from my shelf?"
I have become such a fragile thing,
something that no longer dances or sings.
When ever did I go from what I was to what I've become?
I suppose that is the question of some.
Perhaps we are but bitter flakes,
dancing with the wind for our own sakes.
Why do we even bother to cluster?
Is it all for times when life lacks luster?
The day grows old with my contemplation,
the sun and the sky experiencing their daily separation.
Am I the moon and you my sun?
Am I, perhaps, your only one?
When the day grows cold and the hour goes still,
am I the one to bend your will?
I love you so, I love you so,
why ever did you have to go?
The stars twinkle, the stars shine,
while I lay there wishing you to be mine.
This is a random poem that I just wrote. Don't ask me why it's in couplets, because I simply do not know. I kind of wrote it based on something that I did a few days back, although the emotions displayed and the thoughts that the person are thinking aren't quite mine. Well, maybe some but not all. I do like how it turned out, though. Anyways, I hope you like this somewhat older style of people by me. I'll keep writing & drawing if you promise to keep watching :D Cya laters~
